Last Thursday I had my second opinion for top surgery and it was a great appointment, the doctor was lovely and genuinely cared which believe me is a rarity with doctors in general. It only lasted 30 minutes which I was glad about cos I couldn't face giving a full on detail about 'why i feel the way i do' and all that business. Anyway he said he'd give me a positive opinion and also that he would agree to consent to me having lower surgery when I feel I need it which I think it's fucking brilliant of him. He said he wants to make sure I get blood tests done regularly and that I shouldn't be pushed into doing something I don't want to do i.e have a surgery i'm not comfortable with.
When it comes to lower surgery I have decided that I do need to have it, although I am still going to do more research. I'm still leaning more towards phalloplasty. But my main priority at the moment is chest surgery and hysterectomy.
Anyway I should have the letter from Leicester by this week and then I can ring the surgeon!!!!
