I'm not talking about WHAM!
I've decided this is the last christmas I'm going ignore people ignoring my name and pronoun. Also it's my birthday in march so I WILL be getting birthday cards addressed to Jake and if not then they'll be thrown away. I can't deal with it.
My first christmas after beginning transition my dad was hilarious, he got me a son card and addressed it to Elizabeth Julie Lee James Cooper Todd Partington (old name was Elizabeth Julie Cooper, Had changed it to Lee James Todd and HIS surname (which is now mine too cos I changed it again from my mums to his) is Partington ... made me larf so much cos at least he was trying! and when he gave me my christmas present he also handed me a carrier bag and said "Now you've gone all manly I've got you a gluegun" to this day I PMSL when I think of that ... how utterly random!
